Obituary
Vincent "Jimmy" James Congro, age 78, of Manahawkin, NJ passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023 at home.
Affectionately known as Jimmy, he was born in New York, NY. He lived in Brooklyn, NY prior to Manahawkin where he resided for the last 8 years. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Levco Metal Finishing Company, Astoria, NY as their Vice President. He enjoyed keeping tropical fish and reptiles. He also enjoyed taking care of his many plants.
Jimmy is predeceased by his parents, Louis and Margaret M. (Grosso) Congro.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years. Concetta V. (Spinale) Congro as well as his many loving nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 6pm to 9pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Friday, April 28 at St. Mary Of The Pines Church, 100 Bishop Way, Manahawkin, NJ, 08050. Cremation will be private.
