Obituary
Joseph D. Melchiorre, Jr., age 69, of the Beach Haven West section of Manahawkin passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023 at home in Manahawkin.
Born January 4, 1954 in Camden, NJ, Joe lived in Barnegat, NJ prior to Manahawkin where he resided for the last 18 years. Prior to his retirement, Joe was employed by UA #322, Winslow, NJ as a Pipe Fitter. He enjoyed fishing and going on many camping trips in his RV.
He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph D. Melchiorre Sr., and Grace (Fox) Melchiorre.
Joe is survived by his wife of 25 years, Trish (Wilmarth) Melchiorre, his daughter, Angela Melchiorre his two sons, Dominic & Anthony Melchiorre, his brother, David Melchiorre & his wife Linda, his sister, Susan Kerr & her husband Danny, his stepsister, Marcia Matrisciano & her husband Angelo, his stepbrother, Pastor Wayne Zschech & his wife Kate, and his two grandchildren, Olivia And Evan.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2023 from 10am to 12pm with a blessing service, 11am at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ, 08050.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org
