Jeffrey Michael Dahn, age 47, passed away unexpectedly on May 7, 2020 at the Queens Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Born in Cleveland, OH, he resided in Sparta, New Jersey, Boston, Massachusetts, and for the last 14 years has been a resident of Hawaii.
Jeff was a graduate of Sparta High School, and a graduate of Loyola College of Maryland where he earned a Bachelor of Administration degree, with a minor in Management Information Systems. He had a long career in his field working as the Director of Information Technology of Boston based Start-Ups, Cospace, IXPAnse, and HPS. Jeff continued his career as a Systems Analyst with The Chubb Group of Insurance Companies, and on Wall Street as a Senior Systems Network Engineer for McGraw Hill and Standard and Poor’s. Jeff furthered his career in the Hawaiian Islands as a San Engineer for Bishop and Company, and CTO for Island Tech, one of the first Cloud Storage Computing companies in the Hawaiian Islands. Jeff has been featured in articles relating to cloud storage computing companies.
Jeff had a love of motorcycles, the outdoors, and the ocean where he was an avid surfer and stand up paddle boarder.
Jeff is predeceased by his grandparents, Richard Charles Dahn and Elizabeth Ruth Dahn, and J. Gene Kirkbride and Helen Lee Ann Kirkbride.
He is survived by his parents, Thomas Michael Dahn and Susan K. Dahn (nee Kirkbride), and his daughter, Scarlett. He is also survived by his loving aunts, uncles, and several cousins. Jeff also leaves behind many, many friends and colleagues.
A memorial service will take place at a later date in the Hawaiian Islands and Bethany Beach, Delaware.
