Obituary
Jack Klapp, age 82, died peacefully at home in Manahawkin, NJ on Tuesday, April 26, 2022.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was raised in Franklin Square, NY and was a long-time resident of Toms River, NJ before moving to Manahawkin, NJ in 2004. Jack enjoyed a very long and fulfilling career as an Analytical Chemist at Ciba Geigy. When the Ciba Geigy Plant shut down in 1996, Jack went on to work part time at J. R. Henderson Labs up until 2021. He proudly served his country in the Unites States Navy.
Jack is predeceased by his mother Irene in 1994, his beloved wife Gina in 1996 and his grandson Keith Jason Barros in 2011.
He is survived by his five daughters; Jackie Sardi & her husband Jay of Cape Coral, FL, Laurie McCulley & her husband Dave of Tuckerton, NJ, Irene Barros & her husband Keith of Toms River, NJ, Joanne Frunzi of West Palm Beach, FL, Denise Klapp of Toms River, NJ, Tracy Sicola of Toms River, NJ, and Brett Sicola of Tennessee, his 14 grandchildren, 3 great grand-children, his dear friend Linda Sesta and sweet cat Kali.
Visiting hours will take place on Sunday, May 1, 2022, from 2pm to 4pm with a time of remembrance, 3:45pm at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin NJ, 08050. Cremation will be private.
