Henry W. Wohlers, age 82, of Manahawkin, NJ passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Southern Ocean Medical Center of Manahawkin, NJ.
Born in Burholme, PA, he lived in Barnegat Light, NJ prior to Manahawkin where he resided for the last 23 years. Henry attended the Pennsylvania School for the Deaf and was a member of the Atlantic County Social Deaf Club. He was employed by The Budd Company, Philadelphia, PA as a Metal/Steel Worker prior to Trump Marina before retiring in 1997.
Henry is predeceased by his parents, William B. and Isabella E. (Caldwell) Wohlers, and his two brothers, William B Wohlers Jr., and Woody Wohlers. He is survived by his good friends, Susan Coleman, and Gregg and Debbie Daly, his 3 nieces, Tara Wohlers-Jenkins, Sandra Wohlers, and Michelle Wohlers-Eppinger, as well as 3 great nephews, James, Harley, and Stephen, and 2 great nieces, Destiny and Heaven-lee.
All services were held privately. Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, Manahawkin, NJ was entrusted with the arrangements.
