Carolyn Alice Bonesteel (nee Voss), 97, of Manahawkin, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 27, 2020.
Carolyn was born in Yonkers, NY, where she lived with her husband until retiring to Vero Beach, FL.  In 2006, she moved to Manahawkin to be closer to her children and grandchildren.
Carolyn loved being by the water. She was an avid boater and member of Huguenot Yacht Club for 15 years. She enjoyed her home on Long Beach Island, NJ and traveling with her husband in their motorhome. Carolyn worked at Emerson Elementary School in Yonkers and later at IBM in Armonk, NY. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Carolyn is survived by her son Robert Bonesteel of Manahawkin, NJ, her daughters Margaret Ann Maloney of Manahawkin, NJ and Janet (Seth) Klion of New York, NY and her sister-in-law Helen Buteux (née Bonesteel). She will be lovingly remembered as “Mom-Mom” by her seven grandchildren, Sean (Sara), Jodi (Patrick), Tammy, Gregory (Casey), Dana, Darcy (Tommy), Rachel and seven great grandchildren Sam, Reese, Harrison, Charlotte, Brynn, Shane and Thomas. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Kenneth C. Bonesteel of 65 years (2014), her brother Ralph Voss (1974) and her sister Margaret Fishburne (1995). She will be immensely missed by all.
