Carmine Thomas Maneri

Carmine Thomas Maneri, age 86, of Waretown, NJ passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at home in Waretown, NJ.

Raised in East Paterson and living in Fair Lawn for 30+ years, he raised 3 children and was an important person in the formation of the Fair Lawn Football Association where he later became a trustee.  He worked for over 30 years at Platronic Seals in Clifton where he managed the manufacturing plant of the business. After retiring, he and his wife Ellen moved to Manahawkin and enjoyed many years on the water until Ellen’s passing in 1999.  He met his loving companion Roslyn Ventrella and enjoyed another 20 years of retirement with her, traveling, partying and enjoying life. He was an avid gardener, loved the beach and enjoyed the company of many friends, new and old.  
 
He is survived by his children; Karen McGuirl and her husband Ken, Trish Julis, and her husband Mike and their 2 children, Daniel & Shaina, and Rich Maneri and his wife Lori and their 3 children, Dean, Jamie & Kelly.  

A memorial gathering will take place on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, 10am at St. Mary's Church, 747 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 11am.
