Obituary
Barbara M. Fontana (nee DeQuinzio), age 85, of Manahawkin, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 21, 2023 with her family by her side.
She was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Brant Beach. Barbara was also a member of the Garden Club of Long Beach Island.
Barbara is predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Ronald L. Fontana, Sr. in 2021.
She is survived by her son, Ronald Fontana, Jr. and his wife Nancy, her two daughters, Lisa Fielding Clymer and her husband Robert, Susan Ritter and her husband Ted, her brother Albert DeQuinzio and her five grandchildren, Dylan, Kelsey, Jessica Fielding, and Jayne and Dorian Ritter. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will take place on May 31, 2023, from 10 am to 11:30 am at Maxwell-Tobie Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin, NJ 08050. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow, at 12:00 pm, at St. Francis Of Assisi, 4700 Long Beach Blvd., Brant Beach, NJ, 08008.
