Obituary
Alan Pierson Belisky of Manahawkin passed away on May 1, 2023 after a lengthy illness. Alan was born on August 2, 1947 to Estelle (Markiewicz) and Peter Belisky in Bayonne, NJ. He attended Bayonne High School and Pace University where he received a BBA in marketing and an MBA in professional management. He worked for the New York Times for 20 years as an advertising group manager.
Alan is predeceased by his brother and sister, Henry Niedbalski and Joan (Niedbalski) Fargano, his loving mother-in-law Mary (Anan) Benford and loving father-in-law Michael Benford.
Alan is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Kathleen (Benford) Belisky, his son David A. Belisky, and three granddaughters, Briele, Cailyn and Layla. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in law, Michael and Diana Benford, Dianne, John Osaben, Mary and Bill Halma, Jane and Chris Halma his many nieces and nephews and great nieces & nephews as well as his dear friends Lynn and Rich Hover.
